Scolari sacked by Chelsea

Chelsea have sacked his coach Felipe Luis Scolari after the Hull match draw.

BBC5 radio says possible a substitute could be (among others) the Italian Roberto Mancini, Roberto Di Matteo, Gianranco Zola and also Mourinho.

Champions League: three English teams in the semifinals



Liverpool - Chelsea and Manchester UTD - Barcellona will be the Champions League semifinals for the 2007/2008 edition.

Liverpool

Liverpool won against Arsenal 4-2 in the return match after the 1-1 in London. The sequence of the goals:

0 - 1 Diaby
1 - 1 Hyypia
2 - 1 Torres
2 - 2 Adebayor
3 - 2 Gerrard (pen)
4 - 2 Balbel

Manchester UTD

Manchester UTD won against Rome 1 - 0. De Rossi has missed the penalty that could open again the race to semifinal but the Tevez goal close the match and the qualification matter.

The first round of semifinals will be played on 22nd and 23rd of April. The second round on 29th and 30th.

Barcellona

Barcellona eliminated Schalke 04 with a goal of Yaya Toure at 43rd.

Chelsea

Chelsea overturned the match against Fenerbache (2-1 in the first round) winning 2 - 0 in London
