Today at 15:00 the last day of Serie A will start. Inter and Roma are separated only by 1 point.

Inter supporters has spent past week with the 5 May 2002 nightmare in their mind. The "Nerazzurri" were 1 point ahead Juventus an two ones ahead Roma. That day, the last day of the league, Inter lost 4-2 in Rome, by Lazio while Juventus won in Udine 2-0. Also Roma won so Inter finished in third place after have dreamt for the "Scudetto".

Today, Inter plays against Parma which have very thin hope to stay in Serie A next year since they are two point from Catania which at the moment is safe but today plays against Roma. The destiny of Serie A (both for Scudetto and relegation) will be decided in Parma and Catania.

3 - 2

Super match between Juventus and Milan: at the end the "Bianconeri" wins it thanks a goal by Salihamidzic (who scores two goals).

With this victory the Ranieri's team seem safe from a recovery of the "Rossoneri" to take a place for the next Champions League.

1-0 Juventus takes the lead at 12': Camoranesi passes to Del Piero who scores with a precise diagonal from the right side of the penaly area.

1-1 Milan reacts immediately: Inzaghi goes near the goal after a Favalli passing. "Superpippo" doesn't miss the second chance: Kaka from the left wing, the ball passes in front of the Juventus goal but no one can't stop it and Inzaghi can put in the goal the 1-1 at 14'

1-2 Milan takes the control of the match despite Juventus could score thanks to a head of Chiellini. 31': corner from right side for Milan, the Juventus defence clear the ball but Ambrosini catch it and passes to Bonera who elude the offside trap and touches for Inzaghi who has just to push the ball in the net: 2-1.

2-2 Milan seems can go to the interval with this result but at 44'  Del Piero, man of the match at the end, steals the ball to Maldini and serves Camoranesi which the cross of reaches Trezeguet: head saved by Kalac who can't anything when Salihamidzic (in regular position because behind the ball when Trezeguet touches it)  touches the ball in the net from a short distance.

Bonera sent off The second half sees Juventus takes the lead. Grygera keeps Kalac busy with a shoot from 35 meters.
63', Sissoko plays well on the right side and crosses for Stendardo, Bonera touches the ball and Stendardo can't give the right direction with the head. At 66th the event that changes the match: ugly tackle of Bonera to Sissoko: the refree shows correctly the red card to the Milan's defender.

3-2 Ancelotti replaces Inzaghi with Cafu, Juventus starts to push to find the victory, Iaquinta replaces Trezeguet and at 80' Juventus scores the goal of the 3-2 thanks to Salihamidzic who touches with the head after a free kick of Camoranesi from the right side. Milan doesn't have strength to level the match and after 5 minutes of extra time the refree Rocchi ends the match.

Juventus goes up to 61 points and sees his European dreams coming, Milan is still at 52 and the next Champions League is farer day by day.

1 - 2


It could be larger the victory of Juventus against Inter but at the end the "Bianconer" have risked to draw a match already won.

After a first half where the two teams studied each other, Juventus has started better the second half scoring the first goal with Camoranesi (in a not seen offside position) and then the secondo one with Trezeguet after a nice assist of Del Piero.

Del Piero himself missed twice the chance to close the match (thanks also to the good save of the Inter's goalkeeper, the Brazilian Julio Cesar) and Inter came back to the match thanks to Maniche (who replaced Julio Cruz). The same player hitted the post in the last action so Juventus could start the celebration for this victory waited two years after the scandal Calciopoli which have seen it plays in second league (Serie B).

Inter sees now Roma (that won 2-1 versus Empoli) only four points back and the race to the league is again open at 8 games to the end. Juventus is at third place with nine points over Milan (5th place) with good chances to play in Champions League next year.

Stemma JuveGrygera and Trezeguet give the win to Juventus in the 27th day of the Serie A.

Great match for Grygera who assist the French striker for the second score as well as score one.

No chance for Genoa in the match until the first Juventus' goal.

Trezeguet have reached the top of the scorer ranking with 16 goal (togheter with Genoa striker Borriello).

Next match for Juventus against Napoli. Fiorentina (in Florence) for Genoa.

After the 1-1 in the big match Inter-Roma of the last week, the serie A seems concluded concerning the title race. 9 point should be enough for Inter to think more about the next Champions League matche against Liverpool than about the league.

Inter will be in Naples in a not easy match while Roma plays at Olimpico against Parma. Another important match is Juventus - Fiorentina (eternal rivals) for a next Champions League place.
